Landlord Gas Safety Checks
It is a legal requirement, that, all rental porperties must, be inspected before the tenancy commences, to ensure that the gas supplies and appliances installed at the property are installed a function safely.
This inspection must be undertaken at least once in every 12month period to insure that the gas appliances, and gas supplies continue to work correctly.
It is the responsibilty of the landlord and letting agent to ensure that this check is undertaken and that any remedial work is carried out.
